It’s the end of a decade and...the beginning of a new era!
For the past 10 years, thousands of students have successfully received academic support in Vero Beach at a place called Make Your Mark Learning Center. As of January 1st, 2010, this unique tutorial center has transformed into Make Your Mark in Life; a place for tutoring, coaching, and training for academic, personal and professional success!
Although we’ve changed our name and our location, Make Your Mark remains a resource to many Vero Beach families and residents as our experienced, compassionate and degreed professionals support students of all ages (pre-K to adult). Academic instruction and empowerment coaching is provided in every academic subject area. We specialize in reading development, study and test-taking skills, new grade readiness, and test prep for all standardized tests; especially SAT and ACT. In addition, we offer special programs for home-schooled students and students with special needs.
Goals and lessons are highly individualized, almost always provided one-on-one. Occasionally, tutoring is offered in small groups for additional peer support such as with SAT/ACT preparation. Tutoring is offered for only as long as the student and family wishes. Tutoring is available at school settings as well, with the school's permission, during study halls and free time. Our hours are flexible, there are never any contracts and our rates are very affordable.
New and expanded programs are being planned right now to include, but are not limited to, individualized life coaching, social skills support groups for special need students, addiction recovery coaching certification training, and healthy body/healthy brain development.
